Adding a roof to your Can-Am Maverick R

Shade in the dunes, cover when the weather turns, and one less thing rattling overhead. This roof is a one-piece aluminum panel, cut for the radius cage line in the 4-seat length. It ships with 3/16-inch weld-on steel tabs and 1/4-inch button-head bolts, washers, and locknuts. Roofs ship raw, so you finish them to match the rest of your build.

What the install involves

The tabs weld to your cage at the roof line, then the panel bolts on with the supplied hardware. If your cage is already painted or powder coated, plan to strip the finish where each tab lands so you are welding to clean steel.

Common Questions

Does this roof fit a factory cage?

No — it is made to add a roof to an LSK cage. The tabs weld to the cage tubes, so you need an LSK cage kit installed first. Contact us before ordering if you are running something else.

Does installing the roof require welding?

Yes. The included steel tabs weld onto the cage and the aluminum panel bolts to them. If the cage is already finished, the finish has to come off where the tabs land.

Flat or radius — which roof do I need?

Match the roof to your cage: this is the radius roof, cut for radius cages. A flat cage takes the flat roof and a radius cage takes the radius roof.
