The Talon is the driver's Honda, and it deserves a cage built the way race fabricators build. LSK's 2-seat Honda Talon cage kit arrives as 25 laser-cut tube pieces, each etched with its part number, in 1.75-inch OD .120-wall DOM main tubing with .095-wall supports. There is no fixture table involved: the supplied connectors install at the stock cage locations and the tubes assemble directly on the machine, so the Talon itself is the jig and every joint can be MIG or TIG welded in your own shop. The matching 2-seat aluminum roof kit finishes the build — a .06-inch one-piece aluminum panel with weld-on steel tabs and stainless hardware. Both are designed, cut, and formed in Fontana, California, on the same geometry as the cages we run on our own race cars.

Honda Talon — Common Questions

Does LSK make a roll cage for the Honda Talon?

Yes — a weld-it-yourself 2-seat Talon cage kit, cut from .120 and .095-wall DOM tubing, with a matching aluminum roof available. Both are listed above.

Do I need a jig to build the Talon cage kit?

No. The supplied connectors install at the stock cage locations and the 25 numbered tubes assemble on the machine itself, so the Talon acts as the fixture. Mock up, tack, check, then weld it out with MIG or TIG.

Does the Talon roof fit a factory cage?

No — the roof kit is made to add a roof to an LSK cage. It ships with weld-on steel tabs that mount to the cage tubes, so it needs an LSK cage kit installed first.
