On a Tacoma running a lift or seeing real trail miles, the factory upper control arm's sealed ball joint is the weak link — it binds at steeper angles and wears out unserviceable. LSK's 05+ Tacoma upper control arms swap it for a 1.25-inch FK uniball in a fully sealed outer pivot, protected by our proprietary rubber boot and aluminum cover cap, with fully sealed FK uniball inner pivots and 17-4 stainless misalignment spacers. The result is a stronger, serviceable, quiet-riding arm that installs bolt-on with the factory through-bolt — no cutting, no welding — and works at stock height or with any coilover, from OEM to King. Which Tacomas do these upper control arms fit?

Do uniball control arms squeak?
Open uniballs can. LSK arms seal the uniball inside a rubber boot with an aluminum cover cap, and the inner pivots are sealed assemblies too — strength of a uniball, quiet of a factory arm.
Is welding required to install these?
No — installation is completely bolt-on and reuses the factory upper-arm through-bolt. Budget for an alignment afterward, as with any control arm change.
