Why upgrade the Tundra's lower control arms

The revised 07-21 Tundra lower control arms replace the factory rubber bushings and ball joint with 1.00-inch stainless FK uniballs on both the inner and outer pivots, riding on 17-4 stainless misalignments. The vertical frame-side pivots adjust independently, so you can dial in negative caster to center larger tires in the well — the adjustment people usually attempt with poly or Delrin bushings that wear early and squeak. On the outer pivot, a reinforced billet spindle adapter attaches with the factory spindle bolts.

Pairing and installation

These lowers pair with our 07-21 Tundra upper control arms for a complete serviceable front end, at stock height or lifted. Every pivot is a replaceable FK bearing — when one wears, you press in a new bearing instead of replacing arms. Alignment after install.

Common Questions

Which Tundras do these fit?

2007-2021 Toyota Tundras. They pair with our matching upper control arms — both are on the Tundra control arms page.

What does the independent caster adjustment do?

The forward and rearward frame-side pivots adjust separately, letting you pull negative caster to clear larger tires — an adjustment that poly-bushing setups attempt with premature wear and squeaking as the cost.

Are stainless uniballs worth it over bushings?

For a truck that sees real miles, yes: stainless FK uniballs on every pivot mean more strength than rubber, no bushing deflection, and every wear item is a press-in replacement bearing.
