Why upgrade the 07-18 Silverado's lower control arms
The factory lower arm on 07-18 Chevy and GMC 1500s carries the truck on a pressed ball joint and rubber bushings — fine for stock duty, the first failure point once the truck is driven hard. These arms run a 1.00-inch FK uniball on the outer pivot with a 17-4 stainless misalignment for a serious strength increase over the factory ball joint, and 1.75-inch Delrin bushings with zinc-coated sleeves on the inner pivots that reuse the OEM mounting hardware.
Installation
Bolt-on: the arms reuse the factory LCA bolts, with year and arm-style-specific 17-4 misalignments included. They pair naturally with our 07-18 upper control arms and are the step below the full bolt-on long travel kit for this truck. Alignment after install, as always.

Why a uniball on the outer pivot?
The 1.00-inch FK uniball with a stainless misalignment carries far more load than the factory pressed ball joint, and it is replaceable — when it wears, you press in a new bearing instead of buying arms.
Do I need new hardware to install them?
No — the inner pivots' Delrin bushings and zinc-coated sleeves reuse the OEM LCA mounting hardware, and the arms bolt to the factory points.
