Why upgrade the F-150's upper control arms

On a lifted or hard-driven 2004-2020 Ford F-150, the factory upper arm's sealed ball joint binds at steeper angles and cannot be rebuilt when it wears. These arms replace it with a 1.25-inch FK uniball in a fully sealed outer pivot — our proprietary rubber boot and aluminum cover cap keep dirt and water out — plus fully sealed 3/4-inch FK uniball inner pivots with 17-4 stainless misalignment spacers for a smooth, quiet ride in any terrain.

Installation

Completely bolt-on: the arms reuse the factory UCA bolts — hand tools, no welding — and the install allen keys are included. They work at stock height or lifted with factory or aftermarket coilovers. Budget an alignment after install, as with any control arm change.
